T-Love, born Taura Taylor Mendoza, is a Los Angeles hip-hop artist, journalist, and the founder of Picki People (formerly known as Pickininny Recordings) – the label that launched Jurassic 5's classic debut EP, a release that sold over 200,000 copies independently and helped define the '90s underground hip-hop movement. T-Love made her rap debut at 15 on LA radio station KDAY, and her recordings include Return of the B-Girl, released independently, and Long Way Back, released via Astralwerks. Beyond music, T-Love has written for outlets including The Source, Vibe, and LA Weekly, interviewing artists from the Beastie Boys to Erykah Badu. Stereolism partners with T-Love on legacy catalog work, including a limited vinyl reissue of 1998's “Return of the B-Girl,” featuring Kool Keith.
